I am an experienced mental health and addictions counselor providing one-on-one psychotherapy in Watertown, Massachusetts. My formal training includes earning a Masters in Counseling Psychology from Lesley University in 2006, but my preparation for counseling work extends back more than 20 years of living, learning, and doing my own psychological and spiritual work.
I work with adults only. I specialize in helping people who have problems with addictions, histories of abuse including trauma, depression, grief and loss, and plain old existential crisis. If you feel stuck in your problem, you have probably come to the right place.
I offer my clients a careful balance between trained clinical acumen and earned knowledge. Quite simply, I am good at helping people not only develop insight, but bring about true inner change even where such change has already proven difficult. The kind of change that really transforms your life. I believe in that kind of therapy.
Real and lasting personal growth is achievable for all of us. It's a matter of putting in the footwork, and having adequate support and guidance along the way.
